Air / vapor sealing film - internal / external
Energy-saving window film . Composed of a modified polyamide fabric, consisting of a 5-layer waterproof armor. It has a self-adhesive tape on the edge which allows a very simple assembly. It can be painted over on both sides. It has a variable vapor diffusion value Sd *, which allows it to be used both on the internal side and on the external side. This film, for example, has an SD between 0.2 meters and 12 meters. This means that in situations of high humidity the film reduces its permeability and offers a vapor resistance of 12 meters, while in low humidity conditions it becomes a vapor permeable film with a resistance of 0.2 meters.
Due to this characteristic, this film can be applied both on the inside and on the outside. The node will behave differently: towards the internal environment, usually more humid, it will be not very permeable to vapor (12 meters), while towards the external environment it will be highly permeable (0.2 meters). Any humidity accumulated inside the node can then migrate to the environment where the relative humidity is lower, always leaving the node perfectly dry and thus avoiding the possibility of condensation in winter.

Where can I use the PosaClima Duo film?
The Duo Hanno® variable SD sealing film is suitable for the
construction of sealing nodes both on the inside and on the outside using a single product and therefore making the job very simple.
Thanks to its versatility, it prevents any laying errors on site.
Suggestions for the use of the wall-counter frame film
- Clean the surface of the subframe on which the film will be glued;
- Apply the tape with the self-adhesive part on the side of the subframe that will be walled up starting from the bottom;
- Form a slot on the corners which then allows you to turn the film towards the wall and glue it using MS Powerflex 25 White creating a double bead of sealant or alternatively a zig zag bead, so that the sealant adheres to a very large surface of the film;
- Do not use transparent coloring which is not suitable for this process;
- The film must be plastered within 3 months of its application.
