Modix powers the control units for 24V motors in autonomy mode by means of a floating battery pack; thus its function is to supply power in the event of a mains power failure. A battery pack of suitable capacity should be connected to the KL control units (low voltage 24V) and is used to power and provide the necessary energy for movement of the motors. When energy is not required, the charging device always keeps the batteries charged and ready for use. All the control functions are guaranteed by the KL Series control units.
In cases in which power greater than 6Ah is required, it will be necessary to place batteries outside the container but near the system. The Modixcontrol unit is contained in an impact-resistant plastic cabinet (grey) with IP55 protection that contains the batteries, backup charging device, interface board and electronic board of the KL Series control unit required.
The equipment bears the CE mark and conforms to EU directives.
