Daniela Seminara, Designer
Daniela Seminara holds a PhD in Design & Multimedia Communication and works as an all-round designer, focusing on the creation and development of new products.
Constantly experimenting in art, design and research activities, Daniela works in the context of projects and designs in her own personal and innovative way with a view to seeking coherence between the actual needs, aesthetics and feasibility of the product.
She graduated from the School of Design at the Milan Polytechnic in 2004 and boasts collaborative experiences with Paola Bucciarelli, architect of Hbgroup, a project for wide-target market, with Gianni Arduini, industrial designer, as an arbitrator for ADI (Association for Italian Industrial design) and is the founder of EIDD.
In the year 2007, in conjunction with Pasini, she launched the trademark ‘PASS move into design’ so as to promote the line of handles and pull handles known as Plus, presented at Fuorisalone at Salone del Mobile held in Milan in 2007. Daniela has won numerous awards and international recognition prizes and has lived in Barcelona since 2011, where she has set up together with Marta Gordillo and Manel Durò the creative design group IN-TENTA. The group blends various ideas related to product design, architecture and photography and offers small urban micro-architectural semi handcrafted productions choosing a line of action which makes for better opportunities for product creation combining sustainability, local production and usability.
