From an idea of Valli&Valli Workshop
The architect and designer Matteo Thun was born and raised in South Tyrol , a region between two cultures. After studying with Oskar Kokoschka and at the University of Architecture in Florence, he co-founded the 'Memphis' group in Milan in 1981 with Ettore Sottsass. In 1984 he opened his own studio in Milan, in 2001 he founded Matteo Thun & Partners.

Valli&Valli: Made in Italy handles since 1934
Valli&Valli has been producing Made in Italy design handles since 1934. Over the years the company has grown and today is recognized as an international leader in the production of these furnishing objects. But the beating heart still remains today in its factory near Milan, in Northern Italy.
