HY 2.0 Torggler 290 ml single-component adhesive-sealant based on hybrid polymers, with
mold-resistant formulation, for bonding and
overpaintable elastic sealing of connection joints , in construction and industry in general. Hardening occurs by reaction with atmospheric humidity.
HY 2.0 Torggler Sealant Adhesive: fields of application
- Creation of joints between building elements, vertical and horizontal;
- Once hardened it can be painted and guarantees good resistance to atmospheric agents;
- Excellent adhesion on smooth and porous surfaces: glass, rigid plastics, metal supports, plasterboard, plaster, masonry, wood, fiber cement etc;
- It does not corrode metals, does not reduce its initial volume and maintains elasticity even at low temperatures without stressing the sides of the joint;
- In the crystalline transparency variant it is particularly suitable for invisible gluing with high mechanical resistance.

- The sides of the joint must be solid, clean, degreased and consistent.
- The dimensions of the seal must be at least 6 x 6 mm;
- Over 1 cm in width, the ratio between width and depth must be 2: 1;
- Insert the infill bead to ensure the correct proportion to the seal and non-adhesion to the bottom of the joint;
- Protect the edges of the joint with self-adhesive paper tape;
- Cut the spout according to a diameter proportional to the size of the joint;
- Inject an excess amount of HY 2.0;
- Smooth with a spatula before the superficial filming begins;
- Apply some pressure in order to obtain a filling without voids and a complete adhesion of the sealant on the sides of the joint;
- Remove the protective tape immediately;
- In case of use as an adhesive, apply HY 2.0 along parallel lines on clean and consistent surfaces and join the elements by compressing them; fasten the bodies externally to support their weight during the first 24 hours.

- Do not apply at temperatures below 0 ° C;
- Do not use in constantly wet environments;
- Prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause yellowing;
- In the case of application on plastic substrates or substrates of dubious nature, check the adhesion of HY 2.0 with preliminary tests;
- Clean tools with paper and alcohol while HY 2.0 is still fresh, mechanically after hardening.
