How does Konigline Eco Silicon work?
Its main features are:
- Low shrinkage;
- Good resistance to the outside;
- Good adhesion on the main building materials;
- Classified Class F EXT / INT-CC according to UNI EN 15651-1;
- Class G-cc according to UNI EN 15651-2;
- Class S according to UNI EN 15651-3.
How can it be used?
It can be used mainly as a sealant for low expansion joints in construction and as anti-mold sanitary silicone. Good adhesion on glass, metals, ceramics, concrete, refractory materials (both porous and smooth), rigid plastics (PC, PVC); Good resistance outside. The product must not be used for the realization of double glazing or for structural gluing of glass. Possible color variations and adhesion problems if in contact with painted surfaces, EPDM, butyl, neoprene. Materials in direct contact with the applied sealant such as detergents and indirect contact materials such as gaseous emissions can damage the sealant in its function or change its appearance. It is not suitable for use on marble and natural stone as it can cause halos and stains. Not suitable for sealing aquariums or for sealing under water. Not suitable for food use. Not suitable for bonding mirrors. It does not adhere to PE, PP, PTFE. It cannot be painted over. Additivated with specific preservative against the formation of mold.
Application
To obtain maximum performance in terms of adhesion, the surfaces concerned must be dry and clean; in particular, degreasing solvents can be used to remove grease or grease. It is possible to smooth the product, after extrusion, with PosaClima Scivolante T / 1 and then remove the excess with PosaClima modeling spatula. Warning: the expired product no longer polymerizes properly (it remains sticky for a very long time): therefore, do not use the product after the expiry date.
