Description of the Self-Managed Alarm Operation
The control unit allows you to monitor the passages performed through the emergency exits. Personnel authorized to pass, by activating a clean contact via badge or keyboard or key switch etc. can open the door without activating the alarm. If the door is closed within the set time, no alarm is activated.
If the door remains open beyond the “Extended Opening” intervention time of the door, the specific alarm is activated, which is automatically deactivated when the door is closed or by pressing the reset button.
Conversely, if the door is opened without authorization, the “Opening” alarm is immediately activated and remains activated for the set alarm interval, after which an auto-reset is automatically performed which deactivates the alarm for 5 seconds. At this point, if the door has been closed again, the system returns to stand-by. On the contrary, if the door remains open, the alarm status is reactivated. The reset can also be performed by remote button.
