Solvent Waterproofing Resin - High Resistance - Magika Cimar
Magika Cimar is an innovative product that allows you to create
waterproofing with high mechanical resistance .
Magika is a one-component, solvent-based, ready-to-use resin
available in different colors .
It can also be applied in adverse weather conditions thanks to its
very fast drying .
It is
also resistant to very low temperatures , down to -40 ° C. Resistant to water stagnation, it can also be applied on flat surfaces.
Primer: on concrete, wood, metal, PVC, slate and tiles, apply a first coat of product of 2-300 gr / m2
diluted with the specific solvent KSOL .
- Colors: gray, red, white, aluminum;
- Supports: any type;
- Consumption: 2 Kg / sqm;
- Tools: spatula, brush, roller, airless.
Resin performance for solvent waterproofing
- Waterproof protection;
- Anti-carbonation protection against the deterioration of reinforced concrete.
- One-component product, ready to use, easy to apply.
- Excellent power of reflectance and therefore dissipation of heat from solar radiation in the aluminum and white versions, therefore, significant energy savings will be achieved.
- High resistance to UV rays, it does not require any final protective layer.
- Not subject to “crocodile” phenomena when applied on bitumen-polymer membranes.
- It can also be applied on flat surfaces without regular slopes, thanks to its superior property of resisting the phenomena of water stagnation.
- Not for its qualities when immersed in water.
- Can be applied cold, avoiding the use of flames as well as heat-sealing equipment.
- Reduced dirt pick-up.
- Resistant to light rain and washout already 1 hour after application (at +8 ° C with max 80% RH).
- Operating temperatures: from -40 ° C to 90 ° C.
How is Magika Cimar resin applied?
Apply by brush, brush, spatula, roller or spray (airless).
Treatment of the substrate and application of waterproofing resin
Carefully clean the substrate, eliminating dust, crumbly and incoherent parts, oils, greases and anything else that could affect its adhesion.
All substrates must be dry and not subject to rising damp and / or evaporative flows, cohesive and correctly finished.
Provide for the treatment of any joints present with suitable techniques: control and insulation joints must be previously treated with the appropriate sealant.
