How do you install a Somfy connected video intercom?
The Somfy V350 and V500 Connect video intercoms are designed to ensure simple installation, intuitive use and a pleasant daily experience. It is important to disconnect the power before starting any installation operations.
The connection between the monitor and the external unit is easily made using just two wires. Before mounting your monitor on the wall, check that there is adequate Wi-Fi coverage. Installing the internal monitor is simple: just screw the mounting plate, connect the electrical and video intercom cables, and finally hook the monitor to the plate.
For the external drive, insert the cables through the center of the visor and secure it. Connect the wires to the internal monitor using a screwdriver. Also connect the gate or gate automation cables. Adjust the speaker volume and place the plate in the visor, securing it with the key provided.
Once the system is installed, adjust the internal monitor. Download and install the Somfy Protect application on your smartphone and follow the instructions to set up the system.
