Why does the Ferramenta Lorenz have this name?
Country you go, custom you find. In Italy, in the past, the shops were identified, rather than by the sign, by the owner or by the person who spoke to the customers. Thus, in the small town of Merate, to go shopping they said "I go to Maria", for beard and hair "I go to Antonio", for the car "I go to Comi", obviously translated into the local Brianza dialect. And for the iron, small repairs, accessories and furnishings in general? We went to Lorenzo, or rather to LÖRENZ (read LURENZ), a name that has become a symbol of tradition, continuity and craftsmanship and which today still allows you to go to LORENZ if it comes to wrought iron.

Since 1945 Lorenz Ferart has been working in the wrought iron sector. The experience that this company has acquired over the years makes it able to satisfy all requests, whether of a classic or modern taste.
Handcrafted production Made in Italy
Lorenz Ferart products are made in Italy, in the town of Merate, located in the province of Lecco. Lecco is a fascinating town located on the shores of Lake Como, the famous lake from which the famous story of "The Betrothed" by Alessandro Manzoni begins. Just as the novel begins with the words "That branch of Lake Como...", Lorenz Ferart products are imbued with an atmosphere and tradition that recall the beauty and history of this Italian region.
