Description: how does this roller shutter with insulation work?
Duero40 is made up of an aluminum roller shutter profile with interposition of polyurethane foam coupled by interlocking with a self-extinguishing PVC profile. The central gap between the two materials creates a hive air chamber. The aluminum profile is filled with polyurethane foam with a density of 160 kg / m3. The dimensions of the cue are as per drawing.
The particular coupling system between the two sides of the slat interrupts the thermal conductivity of the metal, making a cut in the thermal transmittance between the external and internal environment.

The energy-saving roller shutter in summer and winter
Winter - This shutter guarantees less heat dispersion, since there is an interruption of continuity of heat between the PVC profile (inside) and the aluminum one (outside). Consequently there is an effective energy saving.
Summer - Thanks to the interruption of the conductivity of the metal of the external part, which is strongly heated because it is exposed to the sun, the PVC profile (facing inside) manages to maintain lower temperatures, not transmitting heat inside the house. In this way, the internal temperature will remain lower, so that less energy is required in the case of air conditioning.

How to choose the color?

The combinations consist of 2 colors : the top color is that of the external aluminum, the bottom color is that of the PVC inside the house.

You can add the safety bolt (on request)
The deadbolt is a safety system for the roller shutter.
In practice, it prevents the shutter from being raised, and is very useful especially on the hottest evenings, when we sleep only with the shutters down.
The deadbolt is optional and excluded from this product. Ask to add it to your PVC roller shutter.

Before buying: how to measure the pvc roller shutter?
We recommend that you take measurements based on what you need to do:
- Replacement of an existing roller shutter: you can take the measurement of the old roller shutter.
