DOOR FIX POSACLIMA INDOOR FOAM - Adhesive, rapid and low-expansion single-component polyurethane foam.
Single-component adhesive foam, quick drying and low expansion, specifically designed for the assembly of internal wooden, PVC and aluminum doors. The special formulation allows the doors to be fixed without using screws or brackets, as required by the “PosaClima Indoor Premium Plus” system.
The PosaClima InDoor Door Fix Foam has a very high yield (approximately 55 liters at 20°C), is resistant to aging and is guaranteed for 10 years for application as fixing foam for internal doors.

Polyurethane foam specific for the assembly of internal pedestrian swing doors, in the new screwless installation system "PosaClima Indoor PREMIUM PLUS". Suitable for mounting on wooden false frames (doors on masonry partitions), steel false frames (doors on plasterboard partitions), PVC false frames (special applications) when the following characteristics are required:
high adhesive power on the main building materials such as wood, MDF, concrete (cellular and solid), plasterboard, metal, PVC, plaster, brick etc.
very rapid drying (skin formation time 120 sec)
high mechanical resistance of the joint
Can also be used as an adhesive for fixing the finishing covers of internal doors.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The support MUST be dry, free from dust, oil and grease. Suitable for joints from 5 to 30 mm (for larger spaces, work in layers and wet with each layer). Humidify the support with tap water vaporized with a spray bottle before applying the foam. To have regular and optimal expansion, humidify the foam also immediately after extrusion.
PRODUCT PREPARATION
The product can be used for a range of environmental temperatures between +5 and +30°; The temperature of the cylinder must be as close as possible to the ambient temperature.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Wear the required personal protective equipment. Screw the gun onto the foam cylinder and shake at least 20 times horizontally before application; for pauses longer than 15 minutes shake the canister again.
Insert the nozzle of the gun into the space between the counterframe and the frame and start the application starting from the bottom upwards after having moistened the support. Apply a curb on both the external and internal sides of the door. During application, the bead must reach approximately 5 mm from the external surface, allowing the product to expand slightly.
You can stop applying the foam at any time by leaving the canister inserted on the gun.
OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT AFTER APPLICATION
If you have to interrupt the application for more than 5 minutes, clean the gun nozzle with the specific cleaner. It is not necessary to clean the cylinder change gun.
ATTENTION
Before applying the load to the door, wait at least 20 minutes (at 20°C and 40% RH). The definitive characteristics are reached after 24 hours. Humidifying the bead before and after extrusion accelerates the foam filming process and reduces the risk of POST SWELLING or VOLUME DROP phenomena. For example, the cutting time for a 2cm bead at 20°C is 8 minutes if the bead is humidified, while it takes up to 45 minutes if the bead is not moistened.

Temperatures lower than those recommended therefore decrease efficiency and increase the hardening time of the foam.
Not suitable for substrates such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, silicone and Teflon. For other unforeseen supports we suggest carrying out a preliminary adhesion test. Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically (for example with a knife).
Do not apply polyurethane foam in rooms without access to fresh air or in poorly ventilated rooms and follow the instructions on the safety data sheet.
