Holding electromagnet Opera 01830 140 Kg - Without strike plate for swing or sliding fire doors
Holding electromagnet 140 kg without counterplate for fire doors with swing or sliding doors with counterweights, code
01830 Opera .
A holding electromagnet is an electromechanical device used to
keep doors, in particular fire doors, open under normal conditions
and allow their automatic closing in the event of an emergency (for example during a fire).
Here's how it works: the electromagnet generates a magnetic field when electrically powered, which attracts a metal plate (backplate) mounted on the door, keeping it open. In the event of a fire alarm, the system cuts off power to the electromagnet, allowing the door to close automatically thanks to the force of gravity or return springs.
