Plaster holder profiles: ideal for sealing the plaster on the PosaClima counterframe
Plaster holder profile for sealing the subframe , built with the coupling of a special PVC profile and a self-adhesive mat in expanded polyethylene with 2 colors (red and green) characterized by a different vapor permeability: the elasticity of the sponge manages to resist small movements of the wall avoiding the formation of cracks.
The red profile should be used on the inside while the profile with the green foam on the outside side. The external lip of this profile is used as a reference for plastering and presents the external surface with a special treatment that makes it over-paintable with all wall paints.
The profile for exteriors, depending on the model, has a slot processing for incorporation into the plaster or a pre-assembled mesh to support the final coat of resin in external insulation systems.

How do the PosaClima thermal subframe profiles work?
The joint between the subframe and the wall, both on the inside and on the outside, must always be made impermeable to air and steam with a specific sealing system. It is known that plaster does not adhere permanently to most materials, in particular to those that are absorbent such as wood or sheet metal, and moreover, plaster is a very rigid material unsuitable for absorbing blows and expansions. Consequently, on the edges of the walled counterframes in 100% of cases, a crack is produced between the counterframe and the wall, through which air leaks can occur which negate the waterproofing of the doors.
Furthermore, any humidity in the internal environment uses this route to migrate outside, finding increasingly colder stratigraphies in the wall that favor its transformation into condensation. This situation causes damage to the functionality of the frame and generates mold and wet spots on the wall. To avoid these problems, the counterframe must always be perfectly sealed on the wall and the plaster holder profiles represent the best solution.
