Torggler N 2.0: the economical professional sealant with the price on offer
One-component silicone sealant with neutral cross-linking and
low modulus of elasticity for the
elastic sealing of connection and expansion joints between facade elements and in the glazing, with maximum elongation of 25%.
Neutral silicone N 2.0 Torggler - areas of application:
Creation of joints between building elements , vertical and horizontal, inside and outside. Once hardened, it guarantees
high resistance to UV rays , atmospheric agents, water stagnation, extreme temperatures and aging in general.
In the transparent variant it guarantees prolonged resistance to microbial growth.
Excellent adhesion on smooth and porous substrates : glass, rigid plastics, PVC, polyacrylates, aluminum, steel, enamelled surfaces, plasterboard, fiber cement, plaster, masonry, wood, concrete.
It does not corrode metals, does not crumble, does not reduce its initial volume and maintains elasticity even at low temperatures without stressing the sides of the joint. It is suitable for the installation of windows and doors according to UNI 11673-1.
Torggler N 2.0 silicone processing
- The sides of the joint must be dry, solid, clean, degreased and consistent;
- The dimensions of the seal must be at least 6 x 6 mm. Over 1 cm in width, the ratio between width and depth must be 2: 1;
- Insert the infill bead to ensure the correct proportion to the seal and non-adhesion to the bottom of the joint;
- In the case of substrates of dubious nature, check the adhesion of N 2.0 with preliminary tests or apply Primer Silicone;
- Protect the edges of the joint with self-adhesive paper tape;
- Cut the spout according to a diameter proportional to the size of the joint;
- Inject an excess amount of N 2.0;
- Smooth out with a spatula moistened with Smooth smoothing agent before the superficial filming begins;
- Apply some pressure in order to obtain a filling without voids and a complete adhesion of the sealant on the sides of the joint;
- Immediately remove the protective tape and smooth again with the hand moistened with Smooth.

- Does not adhere to damp surfaces;
- Do not apply at temperatures below 0 ° C;
- Clean tools with paper and alcohol while N 2.0 is still fresh, mechanically after hardening.
